In my testing, I discovered the Nonparallel to be a mixed bag. The jacket works well in its handlebar bag form and has an inspired fit, but its water-repellent is lacking, the black-only colorway isn’t visible, and the pocket placement could be improved. The jacket can be worn with a hip bag or rucksack. This is significant because some jackets, such as those made of Gore Shake dry, aren’t meant to be worn with a bag due to the fragility of the material.
I would, however, advise you to bring the jacket only if you are certain you will use it. If you leave it attached to your bars, it will become dirty and you will have to wash it, potentially reducing the DR coating’s effectiveness.
I’m also not sold on the pocket layout, which has only one pocket on the front left of the jacket. I tried storing my phone and some snacks there, but it was an uncomfortable location with these items so close to my stomach.
